This year for the first time I exhibited at the Esxence, the world’s leading niche perfume trade fair held in Milan. The week presented me with exciting new people, inspiring conversations and new business prospects. So many people who I am used to communicating with through social media visited my booth and introduced themselves.
A particular highlight for me was the release of my new branding. Like my art practice, my perfume has offered me the chance to indulge with personal motifs. People’s reaction to the new logo and bottle design was extremely gratifying. I had some people comment on it’s simplicity as being a mark of a true luxury product and others resonating with some of the more conceptual aspects to the branding; the feelings of childlike wonderment and excitement.
